Lord of the Rings Online will be expanding soon with Siege of Mirkwood. Turbine has released details about the expansion which you can read below:
- Advance your hero to level 65, and take the power of your Legendary Items to level 60

Mirkwood the deep: Once it was Greenwood the Great, and men and Elves lived in peace beneath its boughs.
Mirkwood the dark: Now madness thickens the forest air, and the black shadows of Dol Guldur, impenetrable fortress of the Ringwraiths, fill every hollow and drown every hill.
Mirkwood the deadly: In this nightmare, where the heart of Sauron's power throbs in thick corruption, your strength and courage are needed to meet the first great challenge to the Free Peoples of Middle-earth.
You rose to power in the West and braved the depths of ancient evil in Moria, but unless you stem the tide, the menace of Mirkwood will spread to every land and cover the world in darkness.
